Updates Finished

Assalaamualaikum Everyone

As you may know we have been really busy updating our services recently, our biggest update being iKnowledge. We have finally finished these updates and will be taking a break for a few months.

To find out about all our updates, go to our Facebook page. Our next set of updates will might include a mobile friendly version of IslamicNature, a Forum, iKnowledge OS (the next step for online Quran apps) and a url shortening service. There may be more updates but we cannot say anything at this time.

iKnowledge Bookmarking and Video Feed

Assalamualaikum

We have updated IslamicNature. You can now bookmark content like ayahs and hadiths on iKnowledge if your logged in. Just click on the blue plus (+) sign to bookmark. We have added a video feed over at IslamicNews and rss feeds you can subscribe to. We spent some time optimising IslamicNature and so now the entire site should load and run faster inshaAllah. Oh and we fixed a few bugs here and there.

Do you remember we mentioned a new homepage in an operating system style way (IslamicNature OS) on facebook? Well unfortunately we have postponed it for now so that we can make it extremely good for you, our users. This will take some time to do but we’ll keep you posted as to when it will be released.

We have quite a few new and exciting projects in the timeline besides IslamicNature OS like a mobile/lite version of the site, new wordpress plugins and logging into IslamicNature using your facebook/twitter account. These are the only ones we can mention at the moment because the other ones are top secret

The New IslamicNature

Assalamualaikum Everyone,

We have been working hard to make IslamicNature better for you our users so we decided before Ramadan, Happy belated Ramadan and Eid by the way, that we will make a change. We’ve been working on this since then and have finally finished it.

We hope you like it, please post your feedback we would love to read them. We moved our blog here to be part of the growing IslamicInk blog family, we’re working on the shop, we removed IslamicOS to concentrate on our existing popular web services and used the same template for all the services and sites. Well that’s what we’ve changed in a nut shell.

IslamicNature's 1st Anniversary

Assalaamualaikum everyone

Its IslamicNature’s 1st Anniversary Alhamdhulilah. We cannot believe its been 1 year and how different IN is now compared to when it was first launched. We started with 4 main services: ‘Islamic Knowledge’ which is now iKnowledge, ‘IslamicPress’ which is now IslamicInk, ‘Prayer times’ which is now ‘LocateAndPray’ but the one thing that stayed the same but moved to a sudomain was IslamicImage. Alhamdhulilah we have now 7 services altogether iKnowledge being the most popular.

We hope to aim for 10 inshaAllah with some idea of what they will be however if you want a service to be made that will be useful in some way contact us and we’ll see if we can make it.

We have been updating our services for the past couple of weeks (for those who haven’t been following the news) and will be updating the remaining ones in these coming weeks inshaAllah, the next one will be iKnowledge.

We hope you have enjoyed using our sites as much we have enjoyed making them and hopefully with your support we can make IslamicNature even better in the future inshaAllah.

New Service: LocateAndPray

We have just launched a new service called LocateAndPray.

This allows you to get the Prayer/Salaah Times, Qibla direction and Qibla distance instantly by searching for your home or any location using the easy to use map (Powered by Google Maps). We hope you like it and if there are any problems with it please let us know inshaAllah.

New Site, IslamicVideo!

We have just launched a new website, IslamicVideo. This allows you to search through islamic videos from various sources from one search so you can you find the videos you want easily. It is currently a beta version and being tested. So far its working the way it should Alhamdhulilah but if you find any thing wrong please contact us.

IslamicOS Updated!

Assalaamualaikum

We’ve just updated IslamicOS. The previous one was rushed a bit but this time we’ve taken care and made it properly. You get the OS feeling now because a windows based OS style taskbar and menu have been added, also you can open a few windows, minimise and maximise them etc. Its being powered by IndezinezOS.

P.S. – For users that were already using IOS, you have to choose your settings again, sorry for any inconvienience.

iKnowledge Updated! iQuran Mode!

Assalaamualaikum

iKnowledge has been updated. The changes are shown below. The main new features are iQuran Mode and 8 recitors to listen from. iQuran Mode lets you read the arabic like the style you get in the physical copy of it. Also when continuous recitation is selected, it highlights the arabic verse by verse and plays the verse. Check it out now!

New IslamicNature.com

Assalaamualaikum Brothers and Sisters,

We can’t believe its finally done, supposed to be finished and launched on the 1st of Ramadhan but it wasnt meant to happen.

Alhamdhulilah its done, we hope you like the new design. We’ve added 2 new excellent services, IslamicNews and IslamicOS. Oh and we’ve updated iKnowledge with a better user interface, better URLs and a neat wordpress plugin to go with it, check it out.

IslamicNews gets all the news from across the world and web to bring you news articles that have something to do with the muslims. Its updated reqularly and its got over 7000 articles and counting.

IslamicOS is a start or homepage for the muslims where you can add widgets move them around change the colour of the wallpaper. Its based on widgets that muslims would use, like the prayer times widget.

We’re glad its all done, we hope you like the new stuff and use it this Ramadhan inshaAllah.
